Corporate Partnership — Partner with Long Island Conservation Alliance

Success in conservation is built one step at a time — one native plant, one restored space, one engaged community. Long Island Conservation Alliance has spent years proving that when awareness turns into action, the results ripple outward: ecosystems strengthened, wildlife supported, and a more resilient Long Island taking shape. Now we’re inviting your company to become a true partner in that momentum.

What Is a Corporate Partnership?

A Corporate Partnership with LIC is built around hands-on engagement, public recognition, and real restoration impact — and every partnership is customizable to fit your company’s goals, size, and level of involvement. At the center of that partnership is your team’s Corporate Volunteer Day — a hands-on experience at a real restoration site. But the partnership extends well beyond that single day: it includes year-round visibility for your company, a standing invitation to future volunteer events, and a direct line to the restoration work your support makes possible.

The Corporate Volunteer Day

Your Corporate Volunteer Day is a hands-on volunteer experience where your team comes out to a real restoration site and gets to work — planting native trees and wildflowers, or clearing invasive species, and helping bring Long Island’s natural landscapes back to life.

No experience necessary. Just show up ready to dig in.

Your team will be guided by LIC staff and trained restoration volunteers every step of the way. We handle the site, the tools, the plants, and the plan. You bring the people.

Sessions run approximately 2–3 hours on weekday mornings or afternoons, and sites are available across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Brooklyn — so we can find a location, timing, and format that works for your team.

What’s Included in Your Corporate Partnership

Every partnership is built around your company’s goals — the elements below can be mixed, matched, and scaled up or down to fit what makes sense for your team:

  • Invitation to a signature, customized Corporate Volunteer Day for your team
  • Recognition in LIC’s Field Notes newsletter
  • Logo placement on LIC’s website
  • A dedicated social media spotlight post
  • Logo included in LIC’s Annual Impact Report
  • Speaking invitations for company representatives at LIC events

Why Partner With LIC?

Support a nonprofit doing real work. Long Island Conservation Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2021 with a simple, urgent mission: plant native, remove the invasive, and conserve our lands. Every partnership directly advances active restoration projects — the kind that rebuild ecological corridors for migratory birds, support pollinators, and protect the island we all call home.

Make a measurable, visible difference. Your team won’t just feel good — they’ll see results, and so will your customers, employees, and community. Plants go in the ground. Acres get restored. Your company’s name is attached to lasting, visible impact across Long Island.

Build your team in a way that actually means something. There’s no better team-building than working side by side toward a shared purpose. Your Corporate Volunteer Day gets your staff out of the office, into nature, and connected to each other in a way no conference room can replicate — and your broader partnership keeps that connection visible all year.

Who Is This For?

A Corporate Partnership is ideal for companies of all sizes who want to invest in their community, support a local nonprofit, and build an ongoing, visible presence around real conservation work. Whether your team is five people or fifty, and whether you’re looking for a single annual event or a deeper, multi-touchpoint partnership, we’ll design something that works for you.
