The Long Island Conservation Alliance was established in 2021 as a grassroots organization of volunteers united by a shared vision: to strengthen conservation efforts across Long Island. Since its inception, the Alliance has grown into a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization — yet its mission remains unchanged: to plant native species, remove invasive plants, and conserve our lands. In doing so, the Alliance works to restore our local ecosystem,
Collaboration and Conservation.

Conservation requires partnership — between individuals, communities, and organizations who share a commitment to protecting our environment. Through volunteer engagement, corporate and philanthropic support, the Long Island Conservation Alliance advances land protection, restoration projects, native planting programs, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
